Les Grands Suchots and Les Chaumes sit in the same prestigious neighbourhood, bordered by Romanee-Saint-Vivant and Richebourg. Compared side by side, Les Chaumes tends to be the quieter, less overtly perfumed of the two, trading lift and truffle-game complexity for something more grounded.

    Another warm year, but one that avoided 2018 and 2019's occasional over-ripeness. Excellent phenolic grip and linear acidity, widely considered the best vintage since 2017 for capturing real differences between terroirs.
