The largest Grand Cru in Vosne-Romanee, spread across eleven separate lieux-dits and roughly eighty different owners - meaning no two bottles of "Echezeaux" from different producers are really the same wine. Made here with Philippe Pacalet's whole-cluster, wild-yeast, zero-sulphur negociant method, on rented rather than owned vines.

    Another warm year, but one that avoided 2018 and 2019's occasional over-ripeness. Excellent phenolic grip and linear acidity, widely considered the best vintage since 2017 for capturing real differences between terroirs.
