Vin Noé - Jonathan Purcelle

Jonathan Purcelle grew up in San Diego on his father's collection of Burgundy, moved to France in 2012 to study in Beaune, and learned gentle, additive-free vinification firsthand working for Philippe Pacalet.

He started Vin Noe in 2016 — small leased parcels scattered across Saint-Aubin, Puligny and Pommard, plus purchased fruit from further afield — and it's been his full-time work since 2021. No additives, no fining, no filtration, no mechanical pumps: about as hands-off as Burgundy winemaking gets.
