Vincent Dancer

Vincent Dancer trained as an engineer before switching paths entirely, taking over his family's Chassagne-Montrachet vines at 22 in 1996. He was among the first producers in the village to farm organically, at a time when that was still a fringe decision rather than a selling point.

Two decades on, Dancer's white Burgundies — from Chassagne-Montrachet and Meursault — have become a genuine cult name, with prices that were modest not long ago now climbing sharply and allocations tightening every year. His son Theo took over in 2020 and has since simplified the name to plain "Domaine Dancer".
