Domaine Nicolas Faure

A one-man estate with no family vineyard behind it at all. Nicolas Faure studied in Beaune, interned at Domaine de la Romanee-Conti, then worked with Jean-Louis Chave in the Rhone, before building his own tiny domaine near Nuits-Saint-Georges from scratch — around ten barrels a year, hand-pressed the way Lalou Bize-Leroy presses at Domaine Leroy.
